- The Appalachian Therapeutic Riding Center (ATRC) was founded in 1986 and is located on 15 acres in the beautiful South Toe Valley. ATRC is a 501(c)3 non-profit agency and has 3 Professional Association for Therapeutic Horsemanship Certified instructors.

- Our Facility. Our facility is located on 15 acres of beautiful land in the South Toe Valley. We have a large indoor arena with classroom, office, therapy room, bathrooms and indoor horse stalls. There is an outdoor riding ring and run-in shelters in all the pastures. The hay barn overlooks the beautiful valley.

- Currently the cost for a session is $216. One week of make-up lesson times are set at the end of each session. Only 1 make-up lesson is offered per rider for each session. If the rider misses more than 1 class in a session the remaining classes will not be made up. Yearly paperwork and fees are due 2 weeks before the beginning of the session.
