- CJRL’s studios and offices were at the Brydon Block on Main Street, and the transmitter was in Jaffray Township. CJRL erected a new 202 foot tower in an effort to defeat signal problems caused by the highly mineralized Lake of The Woods area. First reports after the tower became operational had CJRL beaming into Red Lake for the first time ever.
