Mar 24, 2020 · Family Care Council is the only family voice in Florida and we strive for measurable and effective change on the local level as well as statewide. We partner with the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) to make sure self-advocates and their families have input in statewide policies.
Family Care Council Area 1. Family Care Council Area 1 consists of the western most counties in the Florida Panhandle: Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton. The mission of Family Care Council Area 1 is to promote collaboration among the Agency for Persons with Disabilities staff, consumers and their families/caregivers, providers, waitlist individuals and community agencies.
