The painting is also seen on a side wall in McGarrett's office in the Territorial Office Building, behind Admiral Henderson's desk inM Station: Hawaii, and in several episodes of Magnum, PI. The painting (actually a print poster, as it turns out) now hangs in its original frame in the home of Honolulu columnist and author Charley Memminger, who rescued it just before it was thrown into the trash.
