Welcome to the National Rural Letter Carriers' Association. The purpose of this Association shall be to improve the methods used by rural letter carriers, to benefit their conditions of labor with the United States Postal Service (USPS), and to promote a fraternal spirit among its members.
NALC is the sole representative of city letter carriers employed by the United States Postal Service. Since it was founded in 1889, the union has defended the rights of letter carriers while protecting the integrity of the USPS. Help NALC make these bills and resolutions a priority in the U.S. Congress!

The 2021 minimum dues per pay period are $26.72. National retains one-third of this amount, $8.89, and remits the other two-thirds to the local branches (with some withheld for state associations and remitted monthly by National Headquarters to the state associations). Some branches may have dues that are higher than the minimum dues structure.
Founded in 1904, CaRLCA is the second recognized charter of the National Rural Letter Carriers' Association and is comprised of both current and retired carriers. The CaRLCA is a family friendly organization and proudly partners with our Junior's Auxiliary and Lady Carriers' Club.
