The boat ramps at the main Prineville Reservoir State Park day-use area, Powderhouse Cove and Jasper Point are closed due to low water levels. The Roberts Bay and County boat ramps are open to small, non-motorized watercraft. Swimming is still allowed, but we had to remove the floating guardrails that protect the swim area. No boat moorage in 2021.

Prineville Reservoir State Park is a 118-hectare site in central Oregon, U.S., administered by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. It is situated on the shores of the eponymous Prineville Reservoir, created in 1961 for irrigation and flood control by damming of the Crooked River by the predecessor of the US Bureau of Reclamation.
