Online Records. The Clerk-Recorder recently digitized the Water Claims Book from 1877 to 1918. The project also includes restoration of the book to de-acidify the pages. Acidity is the major cause of paper deterioration and must be dealt with if the records are to be preserved. From 1850 - 1993, wood pulp paper was used for record keeping.
