- The Good Shepherd Cat Sanctuary began in 1994 as "The Family Cat" originally offering boarding, grooming, and pet supplies. The services evolved to include an adoption center. Soon to follow was our feral rescue facility - a 17 acre property which we own. It was our adoption center and then the growing need for rescue that grew to comprise the largest portion of our organization.

- The Good Shepherd Cat Sanctuary is a 17 acre facility (which we own) where we provide care and sanctuary to feral cats in need. Most of these have been referred by rescue organizations located along the eastern seaboard who have had to find alternative homes for populations in need.. Following a 30-day confinement phase in our intake building, our ferals are then evaluated and placed accordingly.
